As a wedding planner, I found myself directly how stressful planning a wedding can be. When I was planning my wedding, I thought it would not be a problem but found if I'm in the business still are some guidelines to follow to create a successful wedding or special event. Therefore, what I thought was going to do is share some tips on wedding planning with you to help relieve some strains of party planning, you can have on your special day. These tips work whether for a wedding or other special event, you can have.
Here are tips you should remember:
1. If you take photos or hire a professional photographer before the event, creating a hit list of important memories you want from this day. Remember this is a live event and you only get one shot.
2. Create a program and be as accurate as possible to ensure you have all aspects of your event in place before the start time.
3. Confirm supplier 48 hours before. Do not try to call them on that day or the day before, when you have yet to put together some last minute details.
4. Do not be a hero and try to do everything expected of that day. It's OK to ask your husband or wife to be or a friend to help if you can.
5. Have a second pair of shoes conveniently near where you sit. You'll be surprised how the dream wedding shoes can be uncomfortable all of a sudden.
6. If you wear your hair, make sure the hair is not too tight or you might have a headache!
7. Eat! Do not forget to eat, enjoy a meal, particularly a wedding cake.
8. Go with the flow, somethings always seems to happen, you just do not worry and have fun!
9. Being in the moment. Focus on what is happening in the now and not worry about the later or what might have been.
Any wedding planner will tell you it is very important to enjoy the day as it comes only once (hopefully). Also, remember to breathe and drink lots of water.
